We're bringing out... creativity
The project partners JSW Innowacje and Przemysłowa Akademia Rozwoju invited to participate in the pilot program the Śląskie Techniczne Zakłady Naukowe in Katowice, namely third grade mechatronic students. The authors of the project put a special emphasis on the development of students' competences in the field of energy transformation and development of 4.0 Industry in Poland. An excellent substantive basis for the implementation of the didactic objectives were the innovative projects currently implemented by JSW Innowacje
- This educational project provided space for communication and creation of an ideal model approach in educating young people for the development of modern industry - said Jarosław Mrozek, President of the Management Board of JSW Innowacje at a meeting summarizing the effects of the programme.
For 6 months, 28 students under the guidance of specialists from the Przemysłowa Akademia Rozwoju could, among other things, feel the "taste" of university atmosphere by participating in workshops on creative thinking, which took place within the walls of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. Apart from the so-called Design Thinking, the key role in the project was played by the communication and e-learning application Młody Przemysł. Systematic solving of the tasks included in the application allowed to build among the students key competences necessary for their future professional work. Interactive teaching methods also became a unique tool for communication between the entrepreneur and students, i.e. future technical staff.
Appreciating the involvement of young people in the project, students were awarded with diplomas and the two best teams received awards funded by JSW Innowacje.
- We were treated as partners, we were not limited in any way during the implementation of tasks. It was a great field for the development of our creativity - summed up participation in the project student Daniel Sowa, leader of one of the distinguished teams - now I can say that I have an idea about what my professional future may or should look like, and work at JSW Innovation would be for me an inspiring professional challenge - added Daniel Sowa.
